This hard drive worked just fine. It's a gray color so don't expect it. To match exactly to the color of your black Xbox if that's what you have. Also fairly easy to set up.

I bought this hard drive 5 months ago and while I don't notice the slightly decreased load times, I do notice the massive amount of space available for downloads. If you own the classic Xbox 360, do yourself a favor and pick this up instead of the officially licensed, over-priced 120gb or 250gb versions. My only regret is buying a 120gb drive for $90 last year when I could've just picked up this beauty and had enough storage space for the rest of my consoles life.

I purchased this hard drive replacement in June 2012, and it has performed excellently since that time. Installation was a snap, and using a separate transfer cable I'd purchased all my files moved to the new drive. I'm not a really avid gamer, but I love the faster load times and the fact that I don't have to delete anything like I constantly had to do with my old 20GB drive. Now, I can install game files, download bonus content, and have thousands of savegames without periodically deleting anything.
