Product worked perfectly for putting original xbox 360 20 GB harddrive into the Xbox Slim. Just removed hard drive from orignal plastic case and put into this enclosure and popped it into the Xbox slim, good to go.

It is just a hard drive replacement case with NO hard drive. But you can put any 2.5" notebook/laptop hard drive into this thing and format it if you have the proper tools to work with your Xbox 360 slim. If you don't have the right tools then you can buy a cheap xbox 360 slim hard drive for about $60 if not cheaper at the time of this review and that is for about 250 GB or 320 GB. Depending on the seller you buy it from so even if you don't have the right tools to format the hard drive and put it in the case it will not be that expensive to buy a Xbox 360 slim hard drive.

If you know what your doing, use this case with old Xbox HD. Its a cheaper alternative and you can use old HD and not sale to GameStop.
