I bought a couple 360 bundles this year. Why? Well, the Halo4 bundle was something I really couldnt pass up and have it set up in a Vanguard portable rig, a couple were gifts, but this one here is the console I set up next to my PS3 in my living room. The 250 gig drive is big enough to contain my collection of games with plenty of room to spare. The inclusion of Forza 4 and the Skyrim download was pretty sweet, the extra 4 months of Live Gold was cool (3 for the promotion plus 1 already in the box), the controller is the standard issue of course as is the carppy headset, lol (replace the headset....they are flimsy and wont last long). My only gripe is probably the same as everybody elses....no HDMI cable included. That seems like a poor oversight for a relatively cheap and fairly essential piece (at least if you plan to get the most out of your xbox...without it, you'll be running at like 480p). You also get a handful of Arcade game codes (which are basically glorified demos).Anyways, there isnt really anything magnificent or special here except for the savings from buying the bundle vs buying everything separately, but hey, that's why you buy a bundle. Better value. From that standpoint, this bundle truly shines.

Great! it arrived a day earlier than stated on the tracking page. intead of the four months it says we are supposed to get of live mine got five. this was a great deal!

Bought it for my birthday, more or less just for Skyrim. The downloadable token alone makes the deal worth it, I hardly plan on playing Forza considering I have always been a Need for Speed fan above all other racing games, but whatever a free cookie is better than no cookies so i'm not really complaining.Compatibility issues with Skyrim on the Playstation 3 were really the winning push that compelled me to return once again to the Xbox 360. I would honestly resume upgrading my computer, considering I already own skyrim on Steam, however with the introduction of Windows 8 and the PC gaming community slowly in decline due to piracy, lack of developer support and in general the fact that a lot of games being made today are crappy ports of console games to PC, it makes it extremely unnecessary to have a gaming rig in the first place in the 21st century.Regardless, considering the individual price for each specific product, the Xbox 360 4GB running at 199.99 fresh out of the box, Forza and Skyrim 34.99 each respectively, the hard drive alone hovering close to 30.00 (not OEM which means no backwards compatibility), this really is the best deal out for the Xbox if you don't plan on doing anything kinect related.All things considered for the total price of the console before tax and shipping you're saving about 30 bucks. In my case a little less considering Forza is junk to me but who knows, I may turn out to like it after all, we will see.
