This item is being sold as an OEM hard drive which is incorrect. These hard drives do in fact WORK HOWEVER they are NOT OEM. These hard drives will work fine with xbox 360 games/xbla/and indie games. These hard drives will NOT work with ORIGINAL XBOX titles since they are NOT OEM. OEM hard drives have a seperate partition which allows you to play original xbox titles from disc as well as from the marketplace.I figured this out when I tried to download Grand Theft Auto: San Andrea's from the xbox marketplace. These hard drive are being misadvertised as OEM hard drives. DO NOT PURCHASE IF YOU WANT TO PLAY ORIGINAL XBOX TITLES.

This was exactly what I needed for my Xbox. I didn't want to spend 100 dollars on a microsoft 250 gb memory because I really didn't need that much, I just needed more than the 4gb the console had. I was a little worried when I order this Hard Drive because I thought it wasn't going to work or I was never going to get it, but after like a month or something like that I received it in the mail. It was really easy to install and it worked great. The only weird thing is that my xbox said there was like 105 gbs free when it was new and it should've had 120...i dont know why that happened but I really don't care because I'm good with 100 more gbs and it only cost me 50 bucks.

It works as stated just as it should. Just plug it in and you are ready to roll. I was using flash drives, I finally updated.
