I bought this item and for some strange reason I could not install games onto the hard drive. I had even saved items to the drive previously. Once I went in and reformatted the hard drive everything was fine. So if the same thing happens to you don't freak out. It's an easy fix.

Took a chance on this... many good reviews and few really bad ones, but for the price bought it anyway. Transferred from 360 Elite hard disk to this one in Xbox Slim 4GB. Transferred fine, but all games freeze after a couple minutes of play. Tried the hard drive on a friends similar Xbox 360 Slim. Same freezing issue.Just initiated an email to the supplier for a return. Because of the great price I'm willing to go through some aggravation provided the replacement works. I'll keep you posted.

This HD saved me around 40$ from buying the one from xbox. This works just as good and is the best to get! Would buy another anytime. Also the warranty it comes with is GREAT!
