First of all the only reason I am giving this the 2 stars is because once you are all done it looks really nice and they did do a good job with the chroming. That's where the complimenting stops tho. Don't buy this unless you have a full Dremel kit and know what your doing... And I mean that. If your not handy with a Dremel and are not good at fixing things STAY AWAY FROM THIS! When I opened it up it the top drive shell (the part you see) was not even fully snapped together. It was like they just slapped it together and threw it into the box. You have to carefully squeeze the sides and push in tell it snaps into place. So the the next step is to take apart your old hard drive with the screw driver they supply and there is the next issue. They give you one Torx bit screw driver to open the case but not the bigger bit one to remove the drive. (I only make a issue with this because XCM says they give you all the tools needed. Which they don't.) They give you a chrome bottom plate too but I don't see the point. It was such a cheaply made thing and it would add a whole ton of work to it. All that for something you don't see when its locked into your Xbox 360. After you get it all switched out and you start to put it all back together that's when you run into a whole mess of issues and you have to take your Dremel out. First there is this plastic bar that runs on the bottom of the top shell and XCM never notched it! This stops you from even being able to close it up! Then on the front of the top shell they don't have the little tabs above the locking pins shaved down enough. (That makes the locking pins catch and not fully come out.) After all of that (And these are small parts so you have to have a steady hand.) the release button is too ruff and unfinished along with the release button hole being to small and making it catch. I am still happy I bought this because the finial result was really nice looking. But I would have been very mad if I that didn't know how to fix it. Because no matter which way you look at it this thing comes broken. I am sorry my review was so long I just hope I can stop one person from buying this just to waste their money.
