This is a game in the flight-sim genre. There is a lot of gameplay here, but you need to work at it! If you are new to this flight sim series, definitely do the training offered in the beginning, and pay particular attention to how the views work. After completing the training, fly the campaign missions which lead you through 1-v-1,2-v-2,3-v-3 scenarios, on up to massive aerial battles with hundreds of aircraft in the air! On the higher levels, the AI is particularly deadly. There are also "bonus" instant-action missions which become available after you reach a certain level in the campaign, as well as lots of additional training missions, and "free flight" modes. In general, the offline portion of the game can be a lot of fun! While the offline campaign play is great for honing your fighter-pilot skills, you must try out the online game to really get the "Warbirds Experience". The game offers a free 30-day online account (click go online, and then account setup). Online, you will find lots of players from around the world who, besides shooting you down, will also offer help and assistance. The graphics, while not jaw-dropping, are decent and well designed for the flight-sim genre. The interface isn't as smooth as it could be, but functions well enough.

For those who don't know how competitive the players who play other flight sims are, just read some of the reviews of this product but those people. They knock Dogfights as they are not very good at it!WarBirds Dogfights is a fun, challenging, and accurate combat flight sim.One guy claimed to have flown real airplanes. I would bet not much. He does not know what an accelerated stall is? Some combat pilot!I have 4500 hours a military flying, taught flying for five years, and recognize the different flight models in different types of aircraft.WarBirds Dogfights takes a good pilot, a good eye, and a willing to learn how to really fly combat.WarBirds Dogfights is not about ground visuals but about great ballistics, great flight models, and great challenge against great AI.And then where you are ready, go fly online (For Free) using the link inside the game to get a [...] online account.See how really good you are at flying against real online pilots. If anyone wants to show how good they really are, the CEO of the Interactive Magic offered a FREE Gaming Laptop to anyone who can beat him air to air in Mustangs!I thought the game was an excellent flight sim, an excellent training software, and great fun!Check Six and Good Luck.JWLt. I'm not sure if the game is just that bad or if I can't get the controls to configure properly. As another reviewer states "It's like trying to balance a BB on a marble in a moving car." I've played around with numerous other sims and will be going back to them.
