My sweat lordy. I got back at my a painfull child hood memory. :-)This was one of my favorite games when I was a lad. I use to spendhours upon hours in front of the tv nailing Glass Joe, teaching BauldBull a lesson, smashing Soda Popinski, and putting down the Sand Man,but I never beat Tyson.
This week it was time to bust out the oldNintendo. After a couple of days of practice, I finally for the firsttime put Tyson down. You wanna get back at Tyson too? Here's thecode: 007 373 5963 That'll take you straight to Mike. Be preparedto get BLASTED by the biggest punk in boxing.

Mike Tyson's Punch-Out!! simply put is the greatest boxing video game ever created. So simplistic, yet so satisfying to play, the game commands your attention from the opening bell. The graphics were pretty great considering the time period and the gameplay is flawless. I'm now 31 years old and can honestly say that this game easily outclasses all of the other boxing games created since. The game is challenging but not too hard, I beat Tyson after two tries. The whole secret to the game is the patterning of his punches. If you can time and avoid his uppercuts for the first minute and a half, then you will be able to get hit and not get knocked down. That is the secret to the game. The other characters are entertaining as well especially Super Macho Man's twisting knock-out punch and King Hippo's oversized drawers which keep falling down every time you hit him. Ah, to be young again...there is no substitute for the original and Mike Tyson's Punch-Out!! is the ultimate classic of the NES Classic series. Highest Recommendation.

I love this game!!! I remember playing this game all the time with my dad when I was little. I still do sometimes. We still haven't beaten Mike. Gotten to him dozens of times but never beaten him. Thats how fun and addictive this game is. All the character models are great for the game being so old. Every character is different and has a different stragety to beat them. Even when you play characters a 2nd time they are different than the first time you played them. This is a great game that is unfortunately is often overlooked
