My son is 7 and has asked santa for an xbox360 every year since he was 3. Every year we told him we told santa no not to bring it this year santa came through for him and he loves it because skylanders was on his list as well. I only gave it 4 star because right after i received my order through amazon I found it at walmart.com for 40$ cheaper. He drives me crazy about wanting to hook up to xboxlive but i dont think 7yr olds need to be talking to strangers online but other then that I could not have gotten him a better christmas gift

I was able to find this nice bundle here on Amazon for $119.99! (I assume a few left overs from Black Friday). The game package alone goes for $60! Yes it's only a 4GB unit, but I was coming from an Arcade 360 with an older 20GB hard drive attached. Plenty of options to upgrade the storage though with this unit,is wi-fi capable, and the glossy white has a great look! If you can find this bundle for a decent price, go for it...esp if the Skylanders is your thing! I am not sure if I will sell or play that portion, but overall I was ecstatic to find such a great deal (I LOVE new game systems at Christmas! haha)...thanks Amazon (and 3rd party seller!)

My son wanted Skylanders for xmas plus our old xbox was broken so this was perfect. He really enjoys the game and want to buy more skylander characters now.
